The first in a new pilot program of energy benchmarking workshops for Fresno County businesses will be held at no cost in Kerman on the afternoon of August 3 and Sanger on the morning of August 10, 2016. These workshops will enable local businesses to receive a benchmarking report specific to their own business comparing their energy use to competitors of similar size. Find out how your business measures up in energy efficiency, ask questions specific to your business and your concerns, find out about free on-site assessments, qualify for incentives to help pay for upgrades and for no-interest financing to cover what incentives do not. Businesses must RSVP to the Fresno County Economic Development Corporation 559-476-2503 and provide a signed release allowing the organizers one-time access to one year’s worth of PG&E data for use in the report. All information provided will be held in strictest confidence and used one time only for this specific purpose. Call Margo Lerwill at the Fresno County EDC at 559-476-2503 to RSVP and receive the release forms to process the report.
For professionals in sales, installation, and service of equipment related to refrigeration, lighting, food-service goods, ag equipment, boilers, motors, HVAC, and related items, the City of Sanger is also sponsoring a workshop on the business advantages of joining PG&E’s Trade Pro Alliance. Do you know all the incentives you could be offering your clients when you quote a project? Are you missing out on closing deals because you don’t know the programs or how to easily file incentive paperwork online as a registered Trade Pro? The Sanger event takes place on the morning of September 14, 2016. Again, please RSVP to Margo Lerwill at the Fresno County EDC at 559-476-2503 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
